Poster presentations
Poster size: Posters should be portrait, and no larger than A1 (measuring 594 x 841 millimetres).
Please bring your poster to the conference during the arrivals and registration, where our team will be responsible for putting up your poster at the start of the day.
We will have dedicated poster session and reception on day one, to allow all delegates time to interact with your poster, so please make sure you are present for this session.
Additionally, the posters will remain available during the rest of the conference so consider including contact details for further networking opportunities.
Oral presentations
Slide size and format: Presentations should be a PowerPoint presentation, 16:9 widescreen (standard size). Please embed any videos into presentations (no links).
Please upload your presentation to a shared OneDrive folder in advance of the conference, this link will be provided directly and presentations should be uploaded by Friday 10th July. Our team will be responsible for loading your presentation onto the main computer and set up for your slot.
Presentations should be a maximum of 15 minutes, then there will be at least 5 minutes for questions. This slot will be facilitated by an appropriate chair and timings must be adhered to.
Symposium sessions
Slide size and format: Presentations should be a PowerPoint presentation, 16:9 widescreen (standard size). Please embed any videos into presentations (no links). Any additional handouts or room requests must be prepared and made in advance.
Please upload your presentation to a shared OneDrive folder in advance of the conference, this link will be provided directly and presentations should be uploaded by Friday 10th July. Our team will be responsible for loading your presentation onto the main computer and set up for your slot.
Symposia should be a maximum of 60 minutes, this slot will be facilitated by an appropriate chair and timings must be adhered to.
Prizes
WiSEAN 2026 will be awarding a series of prizes and awards for contributions, the results and awards will be given out during the closing session on day two.

Contributors have the opportunity for their details and abstract to be included in:
- Pre- and during- conference programme that will be publicly available and circulated to attendees
- Post-conference publication of Conference Proceedings to a relevant journal, such as the Women in Sport and Physical Activity Journal, previous WiSEAN conferences have published:
